Discrepancy charges

if it is mention on the L/C discrepancy charges will be livived.Then it doent matter approval basis or collection basis .......issuing bank will deduct descrepancy charges....i am i correct

Discrepancy fee

If on "approval basis" under protection of LC, then most definitely the fee will be levied.

If forwarded on "collection"  under URC, then it would depend on whether the bank elects to treat the presentation outside the LC terms or not
