Letter of Credit Forum

L/C requires : Shipment advice with many shipment related details and also referring to open policy #.

Documents submitted: 

1) Declaration: that shows all the required details of shipment advice and also a "shipping advice" reference #, but is titled Declaration. it also does not clearly write "referring to open policy #", but does write. Open policy #: somewhere in the list of other details.

2) Certificate: (that was not called for by the L/C, shows the wording that were required in Shipment advice in L/C, e.g. "referring to open policy #, we confirm doing so and so" but unlike the long list of information like it has given in above declaration.

I think bene can just issue 1 shipment advise  with both a list of points to comply with LC as well as put a statement, e.g. we certify and confirm, sending this shipment advise on so and so date. et.c.

the above were not considered discrepancy by my manager (contents fulfilling the necessary) But I am not so sure.
