HI Everyone,

I am new to this forum. Currently i am working in Trade finance domain and Letter of credit is a new business area for me. I need help to work in this area.

By role , i am a test analyst and i need some business scenarios in LC for testing and also need scenarios for preparing test cases.

LC amendment

To my freind bibhaskumar,

Here we go for a test:

I recieved an LC wherein i needed some amendments in terms of payment . party agreed for amendment and it was done. But i recieved 2 amendments advice from bank one which i had requested and

the other one which states:

79. Narrative: The New LC no. to read as 441 (no. amended on 27.09.2010) instead of 401 issued on 16.09.2010

Please suggest the LC issuing date. Will it be the same as of 401 or i consider the LC issued on 27.09.2010 being a new LC no.?
