 TO ALL

Our L/C is calling for POD as karachi port and or Bin Qasim port. Is it possible to mention the same on a Liner B/L  or Charter party B/L.  

In other words, only one port is allowed to mention on B/L? pls let me know the UCP or ISBP will support?

Hi Friend,

Bin Qasim Port is a seaport of Karachi. Someone must establish that port of destination is any ports located in that Municipality.

So issuing bank must to indicate: any sea port of Karachi i/o Karachi.

I will check if opinion has been already issued, and I will revert.

In the meantime, other comments appreciated
