39A Percentage Credit Amt Tolerance

Can I please know if 39A - Percentage Credit Amount Tolerance : 10/10.  Does it take care of both Quantity & Value. (10% Plus or Minus in quantity as well as value)

No. Only the value. If the quantity is mentioned, and the tolerance is
also to apply to the quantity, this must be expressly stated under field
45A  .

If under 45A

3333 Tons...  xyz grade at a pirce of .... per mt cif chennai for total value ..... (+/-10 PCT). 

Would this stand for both quantity and value please.

My reading of this would be that the tolerance is to apply to the value only and not the quantity.

However, if expressed as " 3333 Tons...  xyz grade (+/-10 PCT) at a pirce of .... per mt cif chennai for total value ..... (+/-10 PCT)", would be acceptable. 

Alternatively,insert the tolerance in field 39A (to relate to the value), and express the goods as " 3333 Tons... (+/-10 PCT)  xyz grade at a price of .... per mt cif chennai for total value ......
