Dear Sirs,

I have a quite simple question to ask you and it's the follows (this situation is an example in order to clarify a possible situation):

- I received a LC that require to present to the advising bank one set of docs. for each lot of goods (I have 2 lots under this LC, so I will present 2 sets of docs.)

- in the same LC under "additional conditions" is indicated that copies of documents have to be sent to the customer and the related air waybill has to be sent to the advising bank as "document to be presented".

The question is: how many air waybill I should present to the bank, only 1 because the copies of docs for each lot were sent  together at the same address or 2 because the LC required 2 set of docs.?

Please note that the presentation has to be made to only one bank and the negotiation too.

Thank you very much for kindness and best regards.

Hi,

If you have 2 separate presentations then you need 2 sets of document and each set must include an airway bill receipt so you need 2.

As far as I know there is

As far as I know there is only one receipt per airway bill. If you present both set of docs at the same time, I would suggest that you send each set of the copies of the docs to your customer in 2 separate envelops so that you have 2 airway bill receipts.
