Letter of Credit Forum

I have been in the trade finance for some years in Japan, and what I have noticed especially for the past few years is that the international trade business involving Letter of Credit has been on the decrease as the global connection among private companies get closer and closer.

In this connection, I would like you very much to share with us if you happen to know some good website or books that indicate recent statistics or survey in relation to L/C usage.
