Letter of Credit Forum

Dear all,

I'm an European student who has been working for 1 month in the Trade Finance department of a company and is about to start his Master's thesis about letters of credit. Reading around here, I noticed that on this forum there are people that are much more experienced than me on L/Cs. That's why I call for help :)

Are there any open topics/open problems apart from what is already been discussed many times by authors and practitioners? In other words: are there any particular/new topics that I can discuss in my thesis, without just repeating what many others said about L/Cs? I want to be original in my thesis and don't just write in my own words the topics that have been already examined many times.

I thank in advance everyone who can and will help me (also in private if you wish).
