Please kindly advice...Many Thanks.

LC : 44E :Port of Loading: Sriracha Harbour Port, Chonburi, Thailand

in BL: Port of loading: Sriracha Harbour, Thailand

In LC also state that:Typolographical and spelling error shall not constitute a discrepancy

I ask the owner of vessel to put the whole detail, but the name was too long, that's why it was cut to only sriracha harbour thailand.

But in Thailand: sriracha harbour port is located in chonburi(a province) , which can be proof from its website as well.

Howver, this LC will be presented outside thailand and they might not know chonburi.

if i don't want it to be a discrepancy and doesn't want to amend the LC--can i just provide support document?

Many Thanks:)

Hi my friend, Agreeing with

Hi my friend,

Agreeing with and in addition to other friends' comments, you can also have the port's full name to somewhere else on the BL, like a note. i.e  "Port of Loading: Sriracha Harbour Port, Chonburi, Thailand". I am sure the BL has some free place on it. This way, port of loading will be written two times on the BL (one short, one long) , but your bank can clearly see it.

I hope this helps.

If there isn't a second city

If there isn't a second city called "Sriracha" in Thailand which has also a harbour you should not be worried about this :)
