Hi ,I opened at sight L/C. But beneficiary want to show his name on notify address. How it can be ???

‹ Late presentation ... FBL presented I/O ocean B/L, is it a discrepancy? ›

Do you mean notify address in bill of lading? If yes, then you can mentioned it in (field 46A Documents Required)..

Bill of Lading----Notify beneficiary's address

Hi Feridun58 ! A very unusual condition, never seen before, seems to me senseless/worthless. What does the beneficiary advise as a reason ? rgds Kurt

Hi Kurt, I thought he open aginst our L/C to another L/C ( back to back L/C ) and he said that if we can not this amendment, his L/C have a reserve

Hi Feridun, I suggest that the easy way to satisfy the beneficiary is for the L/C to be silent about the notify party, just stating the consignee. That way the B/L can show anyone as the notify party without being discrepant.
