a doc. credit concerns shipment on the EXW basis, incoterms 2010, and the beneficiary requires the following document to be included along with other documents:

either original FCR, showing the irrevocable dispatch of the goods to the address of the applicant, marked freight to collect, or

email/fax message sent to the buyer, evidencing the readiness of delivery from the seller's side. this email/fax notification should not be issued earlier than 14 days, before its presentation to the counters of the bank.

Many a times Lcs are seen to show EXW as the incoterms and then ask for Bills of Lading in the documents required field . Is it possible ?

good day!

we are in leather processing and export. Due to critical nature of the product there are several factors causing discrepancies in our docusments. Hence after an uncureable discrepancy an LC is nothing more than a CAD(its my observation). What are the comprehensive clauses of international contract which may satisfactoritly ensure payment in a court of law in case a buyer becomes vulnerable. An early advice will be highly appreciated.

LC issued by ABC unconfirmed to advising bank XYZ and as per UCP 600 article 6 a LC available with XYZ "advising bank"
