Available with the issuing bank by negotiation

Dear all,

   I don't understand as: issuing bank: Bank in  France, Place expire: France,

APP: switzerland, BEN: Laos, on file 41D: available with the issuing bank by negotiation? I want to ask that where the BEN will present the document?

Poorly worded l/c

Hi Friend,

Ben has to present document to the issuing bank in France.

The l/c is valid at issuing bank's counters for payment, issuing bank cannot negotiate.

The advising bank must check all l/c data and if the beneficiary agrees, contact the issuing bank for amendment.
