Big question

Hi Friend,

IMHO, it depends on the behaviour of the buyer; having received such documents it could contact the issuing bank to clear the matter. In effect presentation could be made on behalf..

Then are documents ok, Is the bill of lading to the order of issuing bank etc..

So, in your case you are not protect by UCP, but you can work to get the proceeds.

In negative case it will become" affair "for an international Lawyer.

Other comments appreciated
