Dear all,

Charter Party B/L and/or Tanker B/L was acceptable to L/C.

B/L presented :

1. titled with 'Tanker B/L'

2. letter head with 'ABC shipping company'

3. stating charterer as 'XYZ Co. Ltd'

4. no charter party mentioned

5. signature :

    David Johnson (in handwritting)

    --------------------

    Duff Johansson, as Director of owner, STAR SHIPPING S.A.

.

is it complied presentation ?  as :

1. no company stamp of 'STAR SHIPPING S.A.'

2. signed by director of owner ('STAR SHIPPING S.A.') but not agent of owner nor owner (because no company stamp)

3. signatory is 'David Johnson' clearly instead of 'Duff Johansson' (i doubt it is style of personal signatory...)

 

any comments on it ?
