Dear Expert,

we have received the documents under usance lc after negotiation which due date falls in the next day of document received date at the counder of lc issuing bank. And we have make the payment within 5 bankind days.

Negotiating bank had already asked for the acceptance of discrepancies and we have provided the same with confirmation with applicant.

Now, they have claiming interest for delay payment. Can they claim interest for delay payment although we have make the payment within 5 banking days from the date of document received at lc issuing bank's counter.
